Things could be better.

At Artwell & Clarity, we believe that making change to improve things, is up to each of us.  But we get that it can be hard.  Sometimes it feels like others should be the ones to change.  The past can trip us up.  Challenges can feel overwhelming.

We’re here to help with supports that make sense, are right-sized, and keep your individual needs at the forefront of our work.  We are always trauma aware and understand our responsibility to support you in building a better life.

Organizations will find thoughtful and experienced consultation geared to best practices and quality, sustainable change, and building resilience in your processes and people.   We believe that when the 4 P’s (processes, productivity, people, and planet) are in place, profit will take care of itself.

Let us show you

how we can help.

Or, maybe things could just be better and you want to address issues before they create problems.

Organizational Consultation

To thrive companies need resilience to master challenges and to manage the internal and external disruptions that are inevitable.  Its not enough to be good at “business as usual.”

Critical to success and growth are a solid and clear purpose, defined processes, resources, and savvy staff.

Artwell & Clarity understands this and has experience supporting organizations and leaders to build a solid foundation and resilient future.

Let us help you focus and grow.

Executive Coaching

Leaders and aspiring managers learn quickly that even “natural born leaders” can run into challenges.  Personal history, knowledge,  confidence, interpersonal style, and other factors come to the workplace with us!

Artwell & Clarity has navigated these issues and can help you find your way.  Bonus: you are you where ever you go; changes in how you manage work can provide benefits to your personal life too.

Artwell & Clarity’s Approach

We are always mindful that...

You are unique.

We need to learn from you about you.

There are reasons for things.

Change is hard.

Events, even little ones, are impacting.

Trauma happens, getting over it is a process.

History matters.

Internal and external disruptions can equally create chaos.

Artwell and Clarity relies on concepts gleaned from several ways of thinking about people and organizations.  This helps us to craft your care or consultation specifically to you.

We use a respectful client-centered approach and partner with you to understand, gain insight, find solutions, and plan for change.  We keep things right-sized and we keep you informed every step of the way.

Our approach is proactive, but we will always respect your past as being how you came to be who you are.

Artwell & Clarity understands that therapy or consultation is often a last resort.  It is important to get it right.

Change can happen!

What Are the “5 Love Languages” All About?

Let’s be real: relationships can sometimes feel like deciphering an alien language. You bring home flowers, and your partner looks at you as if you’ve forgotten their birthday. You clean the entire house, and they respond, “But we never talk anymore!” Sound familiar?...

Dungeons & Dragons

Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), the now classic role-playing game steeped in fantasy and old-world folklore, can be more than just a way to pass the time or an excuse to speak in funny accents while huddling over tiny figurines. In fact, some surprising parallels to...

Only Your Will Can Carve You from Stone

Working on your Self takes incredible amounts of courage. It takes strength, perseverance, honesty and humility. It takes a lot to begin the process ofacknowledging and systematically destroying unhealthy habits in your life. Just because it’s hard, doesn’t mean it...

Gardening

I have a big, untamed yard. My house, perched in the mountains, was built on virgin land just a few years ago. The thing about virgin land is that the native vegetation has had millennia to perfect itself for the environment.  In rainy years, my yard becomes an...

Stressed Out? Take a Minute to Listen to the Birds

Stressed Out?  Take a Minute to Listen to the Birds By Susan Stone, MA, LMFT Maybe you have a desk with a window that has a nice tree outside.  In the afternoon (really, whenever you get perplexed or need a quick moment of away-time), do you ever find yourself looking...

Change

Change takes time.  Like growing muscle, new insights and skills take time to develop.  And, like growing muscle, change can ache.  But once you gain reliable strength, more becomes do-able and your endurance for change increases.  You – Me - We is a blog thread...

Communication is the Speaker’s Job

Because only you know what you are trying to say, it's your job to make sure that the person you're communicating with understands what you're trying to tell them.  That means selecting words, metaphors, and a tone they "get."  Maybe you've got a favorite way of...

I’m Their Manager – Not Their Therapist!

Why New Year’s Resolutions Don’t Work

Let's talk about New Year's resolutions.  Every December 31st, millions of us make lofty promises to become better versions of ourselves. And by January 15th, we're huddled in our sweatpants, surrounded by a fortress of snack wrappers, swearing that next year will be...

What’s in a name?

The other day, I was asked “Why’d you name it that, Artwell & Clarity?  There must be a story.”   Caught off guard, I gave a lame answer: some rambling comment about giving a nod to my artist parent, but also realizing there is an art to living well.   Here’s the...
