The other day, I was asked “Why’d you name it that, Artwell & Clarity?  There must be a story.”

Caught off guard, I gave a lame answer: some rambling comment about giving a nod to my artist parent, but also realizing there is an art to living well.

Here’s the real reason: Our Mission.

“We support people and organizations in the art of living life well & with clarity.”

Sounds like a handsome and noble idea.  It is!  And it’s also easier said than done.

The art of living life well requires clarity of mind, including knowing and owning our talents, values, expectations, motivations, resources, and flaws.  It means having courage and emotional intelligence.

The art of living life well, doesn’t mean living the good life.  It means doing a good job of life.  Having clarity means seeing ourselves and the world with clear and steady wide-open eyes.

The Art of living life well & with Clarity.
