Why Would I Self-Pay?
There are several reasons you might self-pay for therapy:
• A provider is outside of your insurance carrier’s network.
• High-deductible insurance plans might make self-options less expensive in some cases.
• Some diagnoses are not covered by benefits. For example, education about parenting issues.
• Sometimes people want their treatment to be entirely private. If you use insurance to pay for therapy, your carrier has the right to access to treatment information.

Our History
Artwell & Clarity, LLC. was originally founded in 1994, as Monrovia Counseling Associates, a group psychotherapy practice in Southern California. Since then, Artwell & Clarity has matured its focus, added services, relocated to Colorado, and rebranded itself.

Our owner/founder, Susan Stone, has 30+ years of experience providing therapy to children and adults – and nearly as much as an executive leader. Her consulting expertise includes management, staff engagement & development, organizational structures, administration, and team development.
